Horse of the Year Show 2016
HOYS 2016 started in great style on the first day with Beverley Moore's yearling colt 'Donabi UK Uno Di Maggio' collecting fourth place in the Miniature Youngstock of the year. He behaved impeccably for his HOYS debut and we are hoping to return next season! Huge thanks must go to Hattie Miller for all her help in getting him there.
Saturday saw Grace Trebble make her HOYS debut aboard her mother, Lady Emma Trebble's 'Kalusta Huckleberry Finn'. Despite the nerves she held it together and rode her socks off! they were just out of the placings but we couldnt be more proud of them both. Big thanks to my Assistant, Kaitlyn Woods for taking over the role of teaching Grace and Finn during the lead up to HOYS. You have been instrumental in their preparation.
This was Finn's last show with us as he leaves for his new home in Peterborough... He has been an absolute star giving Grace all the confidence in the world along with many red rosettes. We wish his new family the very best of luck with him.
Lastly on Sunday.... London Black Jack gave a foot perfect performance to finish 9th in the CHAPS NCTP Final. We were slightly disappointed as he really could not have gone better but we could not have asked any more of him. He will be back out next year for some more fun!
The whole team had a really fun and enjoyable week. A big thank you Paris in Hospitality who looked after us all so well, we look forward to returning next year!
